These are
the rules governing our video sales and transfers of cattle.
Please read them carefully.
- Each buyer must be properly registered and have a
buyer number.
- The auctioneer will settle any dispute as to
bids. His decision will be final.
- Forty dollars ($40.00) per head partial payment
will be due on date of purchase for each head of cattle
purchased.
- Payment upon shipment of the cattle will be as
follows:
If buyer is present at delivery, full
payment must be received at delivery. If buyer is not
present at delivery, full payment must be received no
later than the following business day. If payment is made
at time of delivery, by other than certified funds, or if
payment is not received at delivery, then buyer must
execute and deliver a security agreement and uniform
commercial code financing statement to perfect a security
interest in the livestock pending receipt of full
payment. If full payment has not been received within six
(6) days of delivery, the financing statement will be
filed with the Secretary of State of the State of
California perfecting the security interest. The
financing statement will be released when full payment
has been received.
- Drafts will not be accepted for either part or
final payment.
- Western Video Market will have a representative
present at all shipments.
- All payments are to be made to the
representatives as named in the sale catalog.
- All cattle will be weighed on a certified scale.
Any cuts that are made will be made after cattle are
weighed. Cuts will be weighed back.
- All cattle are sold FOB shipping point. Losses
resulting from transit shall be buyer's liability.
Freight rates are not guaranteed by Western Video Market
or by the seller.
- All cattle are sold on a slide as indicated in
the catalog description.
- Ship dates will be set at seller's option unless
otherwise stated. Lots under 300 head will ship on one
day unless otherwise indicated. Lots of 300 head or more
may ship on two or more days unless otherwise indicated.
- This is a load lot sale. A load of cattle is
42,000# to 50,000# unless otherwise stated. At buyer's
timely request the representative market will fill out
partial loads.
- We have endeavored to have all information in the catalog correct; however, any announcements from the
auction block will take precedence over printed
information.
- Western Video Market, Inc. is a production company
only and assumes no financial responsibility for cattle
represented in our video sales. That responsibility rests with the
auction yard or dealer representing the cattle for sale.
